The simplicity of this unique design acts to calm the racy maple, filled with spalted marks, curl, and subtle white, blue, pink and orange streaks of colors. The walnut legs, previously part of a barn beam in a late 19th century Ohio barn, are slotted to receive the cut out of the bench top. No glue or metal is used in this bench, allowing it to be deconstructed into its three simple parts. This is as simple as a bench can get, and this simplicity in conjunction with the rare, complex maple bench-top creates an unique and beautiful aesthetic.
