This bench compliments the Cherry Shaker Style Table, but would be equally inviting as additional seating at a large dining room table or as a stand-alone bench. We have painstakingly preserved the sawmill marks and patina of the locally Amish milled cherry. Most furniture makers plane through these treasures to get a uniform thickness, which can lend to an uninteresting piece with little color contrast or character. While it takes extra time and effort to preserve these marks, we think it’s worth it.
